Reid
Joyce, bass, began barbershopping in 1958. He's the Webmaster for the Johnny
Appleseed District of the Barbershop Harmony Society. He works as an aeronautical
and human-factors consultant for a flight-simulator manufacturer. For relief from
the danger and excitement of singing, he searches the ocean and jungles of the
western Pacific for American service members who have been missing since WWII.
He is the father of three.
Jean
Forti, alto/lead, has been a member of the Greater Harmony Chapter (GHC)
of the Sweet Adelines for over 13 years, where she is an associate director and
assists Lynn with choreography. Barbershop music was infused into her blood by
her grandfather, who sang in a quartet in Buffalo, NY. Jean has her Ph.D. in Industrial
Organizational Psychology and is chair of the Human Resource Management Master's
Program at La Roche College in Pittsburgh, PA. In addition to GHC barbershop,
Jean's loves include her friends and family and her two dogs Gus and Sam.
Joe
LoBue, bari/lead, is a 25-year member of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
He won a gold medal as a member of the 1987 international champion West Towns
Chorus. In real life, Joe is a Human Resources Director for a national investigative
company, where he's involved in community activities such as being on the Board
of the Big Brothers Big Sisters in Butler, and he's active with the United Way
and the American Heart Association, Joe is the father of two. Joe does not dance.
This
is part of Jean Forti's living-room chair. It has
no musical significance. Frankly, it's a little weird that you're even exploring
it.
Lynn
Ross, soprano/tenor, has sung with the Greater Harmony Chapter (GHC) of
the Sweet Adelines for 27 years, and is the choreographer for the chorus. Lynn
works in the Pine-Richland School District in suburban Pittsburgh, and is the
mother of three.
